One of the most important saint in Christianity, St Peter became the leader of the disciples after the resurrection of Lord Jesus. Through this movie, one can get the glimpse of the lives of this great apostle during his lives on earth.

Through this person, we should know that no man could actually escape from betraying the Lord. One part, where the Lord predict the denial of St Peter mark the most important part in a Christian lives. Too many times, we tend to deny him when something terrible happen to us. I, myself denied the Lord for so many times yet through His mercy, He brought me back to His protection.

St Peter had been following the Lord for his entire lives. Yet, when the Jews captivate and accuse Jesus for blaspheming God, St Peter shows his real nature. We too always blinded by our own hidden nature but in time of suffering, this true nature will reveal itself. St Peter, a mere human like us is also not an exception.

In his lives, we see how Jesus still trust him by entrusting to him the key of heaven, even He already knew St Peter would deny Him during the accusation. It is the same in our lives. No matter how many times we deny Him, He would show His mercy and grace to us. Just because He loves us more than anything else.

One of the modern saint, St Padre Pio quoted when you fall into sin by chance, rise up again and set your eyes to return to righteousness. We, mere human need to be saved for many times. Salvation doesn't happen only once but for our entire lives on earth. It doesn't matter how many times we fall into sin, stand up again and walk into to Him.

There is no limit of His mercy. The most important thing when someone fall into sin is to repent and set a target not to sin anymore. A target which is not the same as a worldly target which soon vanish but a target which continue to purify ourselves regardless of how many times we fail to fulfill it.
